I don't think they did it the way they say they did. The nails look hella-fake on those fingers and the other hand looks photoshopped in as well.They only really show us 5 nails being actually painted and then some twats sitting at a desk and random stats. 1200 bottles of nail polish? Come on! like 500 were for the agency exec's wife and the rest was fed to baby sea turtles while laughing their asses of after getting high on some CC. Those nails were not on those fingers. They were photoshopped in to save money. After all: It's a Kia. I rest my case and stand behind my theory (especially the bit about sea-turtles).

#4 Did you not notice that they were all FAKE nails and not the actual person's fingernails? Watch the beginning again and you will plainly see that the nails were put in a tray in order of how they were to be attached to the person's finger.

I think it was rather ingenious and a novel way to advertise.

Cool idea, bad execution. Looks like crap. Could have been done much better. And not used to sell car.

Fake marketing...
there is No 2 hours per nail

1. let's do math

It's aprox 6 frames per sec
The add is 41 secs

6x41 = 246 nail to draw

246x2hours =492 hours = 20.5 days

So 20,5 days nonstop, if you work 8hours a day, means 30.75 day of work

2. the car models are obviously done in 3D software with a painting render, and all the work is CG

I couldn't go through the whole video without feeling a slight bit sick.It sucked and i don't mean that in a good way either........
It was so obviously a CG job.Most of the time the nail didn't fit on the finger

I think that all those people with nasty comments just don't get the point, which is - fit a lot into a smALL space, hence the idea of fitting an entire car into a fingernail.
I love it, the idea is great and it makes a good marketing.
