What's with that "POFF" at 2:10? I have played a lot with magnifying glass's and i never had a "POFF"...
I'm sorry guys, but this is probably fake :/ If you try this when you really need a fire out in the bush, you are going to freeze your fingers off and not be able to warm them up, especially not on any fire.

#12 I'm thinking that the "POFF" is the result of some kind of accelerant. No doubt added to help make the video more visually interesting.
Not to say that this technique doesn't work, in theory the technique is sound. But I'll stick to carrying Swedish firesteel and waterproof matches in my kit thanks.

#9 If someone are able to make a fire with only urine (not a plastic bag), I'm going to be impressed. Until then, I think this is fake. Even with a proper magnifying glass fire doesn't start that way (even when Cody in Dual Survival makes fire with sticks he has to blow on the tinder for what seems to be ages before he gets a proper fire). Wood as tinder doesn't explode from a magnifying glass, let alone ice as magnification device.
