I just did talk to it for 15 minutes at http://cleverbot.com/. It's a bit scary. How does it work? I know one solution. You type a question. Another human get's that question and answers it and you get the answer. And when you are saying something like "what now?" you'll get a question from someone else to answer or whatever. That COULD be a solution. At least one i could understand. But how does the damn thing work for real.

I did this once with Aim chat bots in 2001. It became strange after they started talking about controlling the world and learning programing languages. :O
