Too much emphasis on "Iraq" for someone who spent most of his life on the other part of the planet.
Would he generate the same reaction if he was orphan from New Zealand?
Cool singing, but that's just background noise compared to his origin and mishap of being disabled in some ways. ![]()

That's not how John sang it. This sounds just like a mediocre pop-to-go cover. Raping a true classic.

He had so much emotion in this song... I don't know why I have not seen this on television yet.

Next week:
A cannibal from New Guinea will sing a cover of "Savoy Truffle" by The Beatles! ![]()
When was the last time you saw a sob story like this followed by a crappy performance. Never! It seems that if you have a sob story, you are bound do to ok (which he was) to very well on this show.
Boring. I can't believe people (including my mrs.) are still lapping this crap up after so many years.

i wonder if it was the other way around whether or not in Iraq they would feel sorry for the American disabled person singing on Iraq has talent?

So much positive comments. This confirm the ratio of the unthinking majority / thinking minority. ![]()

#10 so I suppose you would rather watch a police brutality video or a fail compilation or some other video that emphasizes human suffering and humiliation rather than a hyped up but still truly heartwarming story? With all the nasty shit in this world, I'm glad they're still showing stuff like this. I don't watch these shows, but I enjoy seeing the clips on here. Makes me feel like maybe the entire human race isn't on as slippery a slope to hell as I thought.
