i'm in love with the GTR <3 .... u don't even need to be a very good driver to win this race >:) only the automatic launch control will do the job 8-)

Knew that would happen, and the GTR is one of the cheapest cars there i'd say 0-60 in 3 seconds with the launch control

GTR is not the cheapest, the M1 is

BTW the launch control on the GTR voids the warranty

#2 #3 yeah,..put GTR with F 458, SLS AMG and som more on a track (with... turns!)and check the times.
Also wtf motor trend series is, seems like a bad copy of top gear.... "Why we did it? Because we can!" ...ffs.

#4 The 530 hp GT-R is $20,000 more than the ZO6 Corvette. I wonder why they did not use the ZR1 for this test. It trounces them all.

people, that was a quarter mile race only, change it to a 1 mile race and you will have a very different outcome.

I had a friend who custom-built his own engine for about $10K, stuck it in an El Camino body, and beat every one of those quarter-mile times. He estimated the horsepower rating at about 680. That was nearly 20 years ago.
