Nothing like I've ever seen! That's some serious balls to be able to go air borne at speed like that and wiggle on landing, holy crap! ![]()
Wow!, I mean the speeds these guys are hitting and not even on an official track is just pure insanity. I thought the first racer who crashed was a goner for sure, I mean did you see how his body flew like a rag doll lol.

This is amazing how they can handle wobble when the bike land!
... makes me dream of having a bike like this.
And then I just laughed thinking to what Jeremy Clarkson said:
-"You're 35, maybe 40, you wanna buy yourself a big powerfull sport bike, because you were not allowed when you were 17. But with your middle age gut you'll look ridiculous in your suit, and you're certainly going to crash... The solution: the Ariel Atom." ![]()

#9 just so you know, this years race, on the first day a guy died making him the 3rd person to die this year (a side-cars pair died earlier in the week at the practice runs) Making it a grand total of 321 people to die at this race since it started 100 years ago!!!
It's my one dream in life to go over and see it once , and im only a few hundred miles away.
#13 You know 2-4 people die on the roads over here EVERY day , id say 321 in 100years is a good track record .
Its madness but least its organised and unlike that idiot ghostrider its a chance for true lovers of the bike and road to unleash there bikes on a open road legally for a few days of the year !
And R.I.P all the drivers who lost there lives driving the machines they love so much, and well they all knew the risk but some day your numbers truly up ![]()

Hardcore racing, no gravel to protect you when you make a mistake, only concrete and trees
F*CK, those crashes look evil! I can't imagine putting myself up to these risks. My respect to the drivers!

No doubt, the pictures of the Isle are aesthetic. But no respect for a race without speed limit and with several deads nearly every year (wikipedia).
I don't know the motivation of those talented guys, to risk their lifes without need. Are they punished to death without surviving the deadly like gladiators in the old rome? Aren't they talented enough to compete at safer race tracks? I hope, their mom is nursing them, when they are paraplegic.
As spectator I don't do them the favour to marvel them. The deadly danger of unconfident charakters begins in the admiration of the spectators.
And no understanding for the organisators of this race. They burn strong men for profit and glamour without having the balls themselves.

The rider at 3:11 should have obeyed the 'SLOW' road marking
Oh and they like to be called 'Riders' not 'Drivers' because that's what they do, Ride !

They've been doing this for over a hundred years. I better get there to see it before they come to their senses and cancel it or water it down too much.
