If you look closely and pause at 0:11 and 0:16 you will see it is a red balloon that is hitting her in the head and making the loud POP. It is spinning with the fan.

#13, good observation, but I'm thinking that's her melon distorting the fan blade, causing it to reflect the red spotlight in front of her. Otherwise, the balloon magically appeared out of nowhere. But, I'm always amazed at the level of distortion in those slomo videos done with the super duper WHY-does-it-have-to-be-twenty-five-grand cameras, so my guess is, that blade hit her hard enough to bend and reflect that light. Ouch.
