I call that a different shade of green "Bullshi*t Green"

How on gods name can a TV company be green , what by getting more customers to sit on there fat arse's watching a 50inch plasma burning 400w all night long ... that's just great for the environment.

This is the true definition of "jumping on the green bandwagon" , People who buy shit just because it says green should think more, as company's just use it to sell anything these days.

News flash....

Renault and Ford have joined forces to create the perfect economy car for women.

Combining the Renault 'Clio' and the Ford 'Taurus' they have designed the 'Clitaurus'. It comes in pink, and the average male car thief won't be able to find it — let alone turn it on – even if someone tells him where it is and how to do it.

Rumor has it though, that it leaks transmission fluid once a month which causes it to be a real bitch to start in the morning!

New models are initially fun to own, but very expensive to maintain and horribly expensive to get rid of. Used models may initially have curb appeal (low price) but eventually have an increased appetite for fuel and the curb weight typically increases with age.

Not expected to reach collector status… best to lease one and replace each year. :D

#8 from http://planetgreen.discovery.com/about.html

"About Planet Green
Planet Green is the first and only 24-hour eco-lifestyle television network with a robust online presence and community. Launched in June 2008, our on-air content reaches 50 million homes, offering more than 250 hours of original green lifestyle programming. Both online and on-air, Planet Green's content is entertaining, relevant, and accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds. By representing a broad range of ideas and perspectives, Planet Green is taking an active role in generating conversation and motivating individuals to take action when it comes to improving the environmental status of our planet.

Our NGO Partners
Planet Green is proud to partner with several of the world's leading nonprofit environmental organizations and advocacy groups. These organizations, dedicated to sustaining and preserving our planet, bring their vision for a better future to Planet Green through a wide range of initiatives and support. Our partner organizations are: Ashoka, Earthwatch Institute, Earth Pledge, The Environmental Media Association, Global Green USA, Global Inheritance, The Greenbelt Movement International, The National Wildlife Federation, Ocean Conservancy, Oceana, and The Nature Conservancy."

I personally would have liked to read in there that they operate from a solar/wind/water power source and use only recycled products whenever possible, but it's not a bad start.
