Daft Punk: Thomas helmet in 4 months!
This is an improved version of this one.
This video documents about 4 months of work in creating a replica of Thomas Bangalter's helmet from Daft Punk. The piece has over 350 LEDs, can run over 4 hours on a single charge, and the matrix is capable of being updated on-the-fly with a custom programmed iOS app.
For more info on the build and process, check out this website: http://volpinprops.blogspot.com Also, for those that will ask, visibility is quite good! Music by Madeon - "Pop Culture"

Good Effort and nice Job...
Even if the Soundtrack From Madeon (wich is posted on Snot'r aboun a month ago) is still one piece of Art...
Someone is quite a capable fella... Nicely done details, as well as the engineering part. Must be great feeling once you finish creation like this. =)
Bunch of amazing skills mixed together, the matrix controllers and design are just amazing outright !
This is real 21st century ART !!! Something else to look at that helmet !!

Two days people and you haven't commented Jango an Boba (Fett) from Star Wars! It also reminds me of the space guy from Looney Toons.
