#6 and all other members..since "Soccer" or "Football" is never the right term...how about we invent a new name for this sport just for snotr vids? Like RBFG (Round-Ball-Foot-Game)..or simply kicker..so we dont have to argue about how it should be called anymore. Shirly then we need to rename american football too...egghand comes in handy then. (And yes..i called you shirly)

Since soccer is played using the head , chest ,knees and feet,maybe it should have been named 'body ball'? But wait...the goalie DOES get to pick up the ball with his (or her)hands! But since it was the English that first referred to it as 'soccer' I think it fits nicely.
As far as the shape of the American football, it closely resembles a Rugby football which is where American football came from. It is hardly shaped like an egg, which is non-symetrical,being larger on one end than the other. And thank goodness our guys don't have to wear those shorty-shorts!

It could mean that you ARE my friend since you called me that. I will think about it while I sip on my Aventinus Eisbock (G. Schneider & Sohn).
After a couple of those 12% beers everyone is my friend.
