Für Elise scanner song

Not really astonishing sound quality, but still a very nice modification.

I have never seen a printer that makes a different sound for each line/character.

Erik: maybe that's because it's a scanner :)). you can modulate the pitch by changing the speed of motor motion, however it's definitelly not a "factory setting" :)

Actually I remember reading the site that featured this video a few years ago and it was actually a hidden feature built in to the firmware :D

That's an old HP ScanJet 5P and here is how you do it:

1. Turn off scanner
2. Set SCSI ID to 0 (using dial on back of scanner)
3. Hold down green button
4. Turn scanner on
5. Listen to the music
6. (you can let go of the green button)

It might also work on newer scanners if they have the mighty green button :) so you can skip step 2.

my parents tried to make me do that on a piano, they should've brought a scanner and saved themselves 9months

#17 Test it yourself, it's an easter egg in the firmware.
