Yes, he did survive.... with serious life threatening injuries.
"Brewer is in hospital in a stable condition, however he has suffered a fractured pelvis, lung injuries and spinal injuries."

From the way it looks he hit the water face first , if he had have dived in head first he might have had a bit more luck poor basterd.
It's all fun and games till some one gets hurt, and honestly I think half the people there thought that was meant to go like that.
I think the proper title of this is "wingsuit almost kills him". Lets face it, if he wasn't wearing a wing suit, he would have popped his chute at a normal time like any other base jumper.
don't play dangarous games if you don't dare to take the risk. and sometimes you loose, unfortunately ![]()

#7 Actually, a normal human body will never reach more than 200 km/h because of wind resistance. 200km/h is around ~125 miles/h.

One of the boats should have had a camera, interesting to see a replay from that angle.

#16 it doesn't matter. The speed he would have been falling without the wingsuit would be quite enough to turn the water into the equivalent of a concrete wall. Haven't you ever had the wind knocked from you doing a belly flop from the diving board at the pool? From that height, I imagine it'd knock your front through to your back, taking wind and everything else with it.
