I have been coming to snotr for over a year now and see a lot of Russian video. Admins please give us a Russian section. Of all the comments I have seen on this only ONE was for it not to happen. Don't let that one be the voice of the rest of us.

What's with these crashes anyway and who apart from law enforcement have cameras on the dash? Is there a driving license test in russia? or do they just have no brakes?

I wonder why they don't make cars a little stronger, so nothing happens in a small crash like that. it looks like cars are made out of tinfoil.

#10 Crash recorder? Does your car have it? i think they recorded mostly with Mobile phone camera.

As I see it 70% of these could have been prevented even if one of the drivers made a mistake. It reminds me of this Austin Powers scene

#2 Us the Russian members of Snotr already expressed our opinion that we do not mind to have a Russian section. We however do NOT want it to be called "only in Russia" cause it gives a very wrong perspective. IMHO "From Russia with fun" would be ok. I say this, we are all creative here on Snotr. Why don't we all try to come up with some funny name for the section which will make everyone happy. Then again I feel like people from other eastern European countries may feel like they also deserve their own section since many times videos are mixed from many CIS countries.

i would guess, that there are so many crashes that dash mounted cameras are a neccessary thing to prove blame.
but i cannot work out who has right of way at the junctions, it seems to be 'foot down and hope for the best'
i will not be appliying for a driving license in russia but may apply for a panel beaters job, seems to be plenty of work available!

i think they need to stop giving drivers licenses out on the back of cereal boxes and teach drivers how to use the brake before they get in a crash

I've heard that there's no obligatory car insurance policy in Russia, you've to prove in court that it wasn't your fault. And that's why so many camcorders and we've so many "Russia car crash compilations". Don't know if it's true though

##5 7&11 you can buy those cameras on eBay for $30 now. And its donna work as good for you, as it work for those people who got in accident over there.

Causes are a mix of speeding, dreaming, asuming, not looking and most of all, standing still in the wrong place and taking turns too damn slow!
