#1 He wastes more rubber than you think
The smoke you see during a car tyre burnout is actually gases providing a cushion and making the tire hover over the tarmac. Thus, less rubber stays on the tarmac. Here, however, due to the low wheel rotation speed no cushion is formed, so more rubber goes on the tarmac. ![]()
1:46 It would be good to hear the sound of the engine parallel to the cat walk!
would be the best combination. ![]()

Interesting, and not saying the guy has no skills, but I'd assume to some extent it might be easier to 'drift' IE, smoke the rears, seeing as your front brake system and back brake systems are completely separate from one another on a bike, so it seems to be it's not quite as much about being in control, as it is about having a big assed set of front brakes. Of course, I could be entirely wrong.....

#12 - the real trick on a motorcycle is not letting it slide out from underneath you or having the rear wheel suddenly catch and pitch you off the highside.

I'm quite suppriced how little rubber is actually burnt compared to a car when drifting.
