I wonder if that can be used to keep "Occupy" protesters away?

Okay, it keeps them from flying through it, but what happens when WIND pushes them through anyway? Just saying...

Gates is a nerd and he just likes the word lasers
Well done to the project for receiving $1m off them for it , great idea!
Good thinking there sir! Kudos to you for thinking outside the box!.
#4 One way to keep Occupy protesters away would be to have wages and benefits that rise in line with increased productivity. I dunno about you, but I'm in a pretty GOOD field (medicine) and in the last 4 years I've seen one CoL raise in that time and my benefits shrinking every year, the cost of my health plan goes up, the amount of coverage goes down, and yet, I work just as hard this year as I did the year before, probably even harder as I've now got more experience. If that hasn't happened to you in whatever line of work you're in, then count yourself as lucky, for now, and if it has been your experience and you still don't get it.......
Well, after World War 2 everyone was broke, so the majority had no money to invest in anything. Until roundabout 1985 noone, at least not on a major scale invested in company shares to make a profit. From that moment on people with no interest in the company they were buying started appearing and the financial sector grew. It actually grew like no other sector and they started creating new products, which are actually bets, which only few understand and the funny thing is over time more people win than loose on those products.
The reasons for that is more people invest in company shares over time, thus prices go up and more than enough people give their money to the banks at way too low interest rates.
From time to time, the financial forecasts that make those bloodsuckers (see how I return to the topic
) rich don't work, some bubble bursts and as they have no safety line they run to the public in a call for help.
The occupy movement consists out of a looot of morons, jobless and awkward people, which makes it easy to laugh at them, but they are right nonetheless.
NO company should be allowed to do whatever it wants without the risk of going bankrupt. This alone should lead to the conclusion bank will take unnecessary risks to maximize profits.
#1 He is Hungarian, me too. That accent is very recognizable by Hungarians because it happens when some one learns English from book and not by actually using it.
Did you mean Sándor from 007? That's a Hungarian name ![]()
#10 And just what is your understanding of the "reason" behind the occupy movement? Is it the overthrow of our capitilist system or the release of all prisoners in jail like many of them want? Their marxist demands are laughable at best. Many of them are being paid $100 dollars a day to stay and protest by the remnants of the ACCORN group that was so discredited.
Interesting, but mosquito nets are very cheap and effective. According to the World Health Organization, the problem is a lack of political will and infrastructure to distribute the nets systematically and teach people how to use them.
