it's a real sweet story... but why set it all up like that...
there is a camara, he even got a microphone on his shirt... could have made it different.

I hope this really is a true story, and fair play to the sons searching for 5 years to give their dad the best present ever!

stating the obvious here but it was clearly a re-enactment for a viral video, and there were plenty of signs it wasn't home footage.... quality picture, pan effects and camera placed in certain places like on passenger seat pointing at wheel and stereo..... as #1 said... even though i didnt spot the mic visibly.. there was clear audio of dads voice whilst kids stood between him and the camera sounded too quiet..... sound of him patting his chest made a shirt ruffle sound.. etc

the car in the real story probably wasnt in such a good state.... but the director still made a faily moving clip showing lots of emotion.

Now I will be hoping my son finds my 1969 396/375 Nova SS and pulls up in my driveway with a big grin on his face. :D That would make my day. :)

Very touchy true story. GMC must have refurbished the car for free in exchange of this story which benefited both the parties.
