I wonder why the dog is standing in a filthy water trough to begin with. Was he being punished or was he cooling off his hot feet?

why people are laughing about this? it's horrible.
I saw in china many stuff like that, they shop the dog's leg and let him die slowly, they say it's tastier when you do that.
or they put it inside water to make his flesh tender when cooking.

Come on snotr, this is torture WTF ! Please remove this video. This dog has been in the water standing like this for hours for it to be doing this. I mean, can you hear the dog growling. It is being forced to stand there.

I agree with those saying there is something wrong here. A dog wouldn't be falling asleep like that unless it was being forced to stand in the water and can't lie down to sleep naturally.
This is really upsetting!

Guys I think you may be overreacting, if my hunch is right this is Thailand where they have just experienced a massive flood "http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-15867661", so i don't think cruelty is involved here. This is probably just a stray dog, with someone recording it out of there window. For people who have probably lost alot i can definitely see the humor if this occurred whilst you were just looking out your window.

ok guys, I think your over reacting. Im not saying dogs are stupid but just like us humans they sometimes make mistakes. I have seen dogs do stupid things like falling asleep at an awkward position were the moment they doze off they fall off a couch or something. If I found out that indeed this dog was being tortured I would be the first to advise this video to be taken down but their isent enough evidence here to conclude that it is. The dog can be anywhere and in that water for any reason.

Something's horrible wrong with this movie, there's no way a dog falls asleep standing in the water, all by himself. Looks like cruelty to me :/

This is purely animal abuse. Poor dog ain't deserves this. The dirty water looks toxic which might have caused the dog to doze off.

That dog has nowhere to lay down. As a vet tech I can tell you this is NOT normal circumstances. He's been in that water and exhausted.

This dog is in Thailand where there is a big flood going on. Thai people do a lot to help these dogs.
If you really think these dogs need help, then please donate to http://www.soidog.org or http://www.scadbangkok.org or any other organisation. Just search in google for "soi dogs".

The dog looks healthy to me, guess he must be very tired, because he has no dry place to go due to the flooding. 13 million people are effected by the flood. This flood disaster you can compare with Katrina. Find Images in Google, search "Thai flood" to learn more..

But there seems to be some piece of dry sidewalk or something, it's visible at the end of the film. I guess it could be bright water reflection.. Anyway I believe #23 is right. My apologies #12.
