#6 Your question was not what was being asked neither. You are giving a very specific scenario. Although you are right about they being too general. What they are trying to ask is that, can men and women be friends without being affected by sexual attraction.

Also, if answering your question; there is such thing as sex friends. Where they are friends, have sex but are not in love, and have no intentions in being in a relationship.
