Wikileaks
What does WikiLeaks do exactly, and how do they do it? Who are the people running the site? What does it say about mainstream media when Reuters were unable to access the Apache helicopter footage despite repeated Freedom of Information requests, where as WikiLeaks could?

We need more wikileaks sites. Governments should be afraid of their people, not the other way around.

Very old news and common knowledge. Whats the point of this "trailer" of a documentary that aired years ago. 
Openleaks is an alternative/offshoot to WL.

Governments should NOT be afraid of their people.
They should exist FOR their people.
People should NOT be afraid of their government.
They should exist for humanity (or their country, at least).

Ok. Clearify's it a bit more for me. Never visited the site. But it was in the news more than once to know what they do. BTW does anybody know how to create an animation like they did in the video explaining things?

#7 In a nutshell..wikileaks was a free platform that published confidential documents about what is happening in the world without government or media censorship. And for the animation..take a look at Adobe After Effects.

Wiki leaks does not realy exist on one server. it is divided in parts, small parts ( 1kb) or bigger parts(1MB). on different computers and servers all over the world. If they want to take down wikileaks they have to take down millions of computers. and kill economy at the same time

However terrible this crime was and however much wikileaks uncovers how fundamentally evil the US government is, there will never be any consequences for their actions.
Also Hungry beast was a fantastic show, I'm glad snotr is posting some of their vids finally but the show was cancelled for 2012 sadly

What do people think happens in war? friendly fire? friendly bombs ?
war is horrible and there is no good guy .I lost my extended family
(7 people)in war simply because they were Orthodox Christians living in a Muslim Area, they murdered my great grand mother my uncles and their children.Maybe it was friendly Islamic bullets that killed them ?

In this modern age, information truly is a weapon. And the government obviously tries to assume control of it. But people like this we need to give back the freedom and shed some light to the people.
