Will be a nice looking place, although very grim, for a long time, even with us humans around. Even if mankind manages to destroy this planet and move on to another it will recover.
Video makes me yearn to be back in Alaska, where you can see half the stuff on this video during any given winter week.
7 billion people and it will double in 30 years ,just imagine two of every city in the world twice as many people to share drinking water and resources with .Wonderful world in 2040 ? i do not think so
The world is only wonderful from the perspective of someone who is healthy and happy. Optimism is just highly refined ignorance.

#4 We dont have any power to destroy this planet. The planet is fine; its US we should worry about: how will life be for us without nature, without diversity, green trees and birds and all the beauty.
Because life will not be bullied by us; there will be diversity and evolution long after we are gone, with the sun's lifespan as the limiting factor.
