Last time I was up in court for a driving "offence" , the judge walked in 30mins late took a glass plopped in 2 alka seltzers , knocked it back hard and gulped.

And thank god by the time I was up he was so sick of being hung over he threw almost all the driving offences out the court so he could still finish at 4:30 and headed straight back over to the local for a typical irish "cure"
