Its Batlefield 3 Naval Warfare Expansion Pack.
If you pay attention, on the left, you'll see "The Ball" a red light with green bars on each side, that tells the pilot they are on the glide path and their wings are level, or not.
Anyone who played flight simulator would tell you that landing on aircraft carrier is one of the most difficult things to to, specially at night. So it involves a lot of skills and experience to do it in reality.
Haha #1 & #2 It is funny that you say that because the nic-name for that jet is the Hoover! It is an old Lockheed S-3 Viking and because of the engines’ low-pitched sound everyone said it sounded like a vacuum cleaner.

so the carrier have to move at max speed in order for them to land. Now I get it
Military Jet landing on an Aircraft Carrier ... do any civilian jets land on an aircraft carrier?
If you liked that, watch this:

Its quite informative about catapult launch system and the landing system, also includes the audio from a pilots first ever launch from the catapult system.. he is so scared!!
It launches the aircraft from 0-180 MPH in just 200 feet!!
And #11 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWv2f84NKg8&hd=1
I would be really interested to find out if this was actually possible, but highly doubt it!! Would be usefull if a carrier jet ever got into trouble over seas though lol
