OK, so you have the 4 chords.
Now all you need is an original melody and some meaningful lyrics and 'then' you might get yourself a hit.

#6 Then, please by all means Explain the last 4-10 years of Music. Between Auto-tune killing the real Vocalists. Pop-stars killing the meaningful lyric. And what passes for Rap now killing itself. And everyone that plays Classical music bleeding off into pop killing the Beautiful arrangements that have lasted hundreds of years. Please explain how you "Need an Original Melody and Meaningful Lyrics?" The point I got from this and the 7 other versions I have heard was Originality is dead.

#7 Then there are a few bands who started live(from scratch in a bar), and ended up on a cd an live audience.

90% of stars make a cd, on a computer send it in, get famous. and then they have to try to act live. i've seen lots of stars fail on al live stage.

#7. Try and write a song one day. Try and write words to fit to a tune. Try it and you'll soon see just how difficult it is. You'll soon realise that you need a lot more than just 4 chords.

They really made those 4 chords fit for everything, but with the whole songs I'm sure it would be a bit different. Still, amazing compilation! They've got talent too! :)
