#3 The tax payer can say something about it, but not just 1 or 2 people, you need a majority. Once you get that majority, you have to stay united and push through all the bull shiet the guverment tries to sell you. Because, like in all the countries, the government should be afraid of its people not the other way around.

No, no, no. Com' on, people! That's just childish. No one should (SHOULD) "be good", because they're afraid of punishment. Government (GOVERNMENT, for f's sake) ought to "be good" because that's the only rational thing to do, the only way they could be.
Sure, it may be so, that for some (relatively short) period of time the only way for them to "be good" is to force them to be so with fear of punishment, but that's not how it SHOULD be. IMHO.

Say it this way , I work for a electronics company that turns .50$ parts after 2 months testing in to MIL-PREF High grade parts (mostly small diodes) we then charge over 200$ for each one.

I can not say many we sell but I can tell you now there spending millions on small electronics like this and considering each part they use in a missile control board or guidance system has hundreds of parts all which are of the same level, So guess why a missile costs so much ...

Guess who our main customer is ?

why are these wars fought? oil? rebuilding contracts? all sorts of stuff that puts money into the hands of the 1%

There is no 99% vs 1% in the US. There is the 20% sucking on the Government teat and paying no taxes and hanging out in public parks in some cities,and then there is the top 5% of wage earners who pay over 50% of all taxes collected by the Government. The bottom 50% of tax payers pay less than 5% of taxes collected. No hype,just the facts.

Is the war in Afghanistan worth the price?
The next thing to consider is what your oppinion towards the word "price" is.
Is the economy(savings, pentions, saleries, raise and BNP)worth the price? War is not cheap in terms of money, but you can allways earn more money. What you dont get back is the one's killed in action cause saving up cash becomes more important then paying for their safety.
Money comes and goes, but life, when gone, is just gone.
Rich or poor does'nt matter anymore then.
