@ Master_kush
"Crazy Russian designers do it since 1982 and the Russian Army since 1995!!! ;)" FIXED :D

The old voxel-spaced Comanche games back in the late 90s features the Black Shark. I really wonder when we are going to see a new attack helicopter up in the sky, even the "brand new" Eurocopter Tiger was designed in the late 80s and had its maiden flight in 1991.

50 kilometers faster? When did kilometers become a unit for measuring speed? Is it implied that 50km is in hour?
And even if they mean 50km/h faster, faster than what?! A car? A plane? A boat?

Shown is KA-50 while "alligator" is 2 seated KA-52. A few more details: first heli with ejector-seats. 2 Klimov TV3-117VK turboshafts with 1660 kW each (i.e.2226 shp compare with Apache'g GEs with 1890 shp) Perform.: speed 390 Kmh (about 50 more than the ugly badass Mi-24 - yes! The one that make's men wear diapers!) cruise speed 270 Kmh... to provide a few data! :D :D

Had a friend who worked at a top secret US facility. Years ago, immediately prior to the unveiling of the first Stealth Fighter, he told me, "I can't tell you much, but I will tell you this. If they are showing you this now, I assure you that our military is at least three generations ahead of what you will see."

The difference with the Russians and the US is that they will ALWAYS show the world the best, and then lie about it's capabilities. The US doesn't want anyone to know it's capabilities. There is no doubt that we have several generations of technology that far exceed this thing.

No sweat.

Omg guy's! Can't you just cut the f_ckng crap! Russian vs US ... My stick is bigger and more advanced than your's. "Had a friend who worked..." - if he was working in a real secret facility - than u would prolly never know about it. Both US and former Soviet research and their results was sometimes disclosed to public, most often not. And much of the "advanced tech" usually ends in failure, that's the nature of evolving technologies.

@ 127decibels - If you knew a bit more you would find out that US military got their hand's on Soviet military hardware during 1990. Some was delivered from former West Germany and was from former East Germany. Some was pathetic - but some gave a really bad chill. Conclusion is - never underestimate! And to the final - no matter what hardware you'r having, the ultimate weapon's are the human's.

Sigh...

btw american hero's. Russia isn't Europe. And bigger isn't necessarily better. For an example, US cars such as Dodge Viper etc. with 7.8 liter V8 engines is nothing but a retarded prehistoric useless piece of crap.

@Aliquantulus well guess what, in most parts of the other side of the earth, we are using "km" to measure speed. Well we use distance and time to measure speed...just like you are but for measuring distance you use miles, seriously how old are you 5, you should know that by now.

i think even u.s. army is referring to them as "clicks"?

anyway impressive engineering!
