Oh well... Sorry to disappoint you, guys, but in post-Soviet countries' courts no amount of evidence in your favor is sure to prove you right, if the guilty person bribes or pressures the judge through their fellows in the government. Hell, they can even MAKE YOU GUILTY! We have seen people kill, cause DUI accidents, etc. and walk free afterwards in here. Sad but true...

every vehicle in that god forsaken country should be forced to have a dash cam....you dont see many of these kind of videos from cars in the 'civilised' countries

Is it a special kind of security cam? I live in holland and i have never seen something like a dash cam in regular cars. wonder if they have dash cams for sale here.

#17 In Russia?! No they can't, if they have either A) money, B) power. Judging from the fact that the b$&ch drives a $90.000 BMW, unless he is extremely lucky, or decides it's not worth it and leaves, that guy is probably screwed. The camera footage doesn't matter. This is a 99.9...% no-win situation.
#16 This is not some kind of special security cam, but a small GPS-sized cheap (about $50) device you can buy at any e-store in here (or at least in Ukraine). Gives you a decent picture (about 1280x960) and sound. Look it up on ebay if you want one (car camcorder or smth.)

Worst thing is i bet that BMW has parking sensors that warn you if your getting too close to the car behind.........
