Maybe these are the bad dolphins they are rescuing, that were driven away by the good ones so they could live in peace?

Oh, mysteries... "No one knows what they were doing and why..." Well, guess what?! They have just been chasing small fish and feeding, that's what! Watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6yzpe8r4xg and behold the mystery unravel!
Still a nice move to save those poor bastards!

Whether or not you believe in religion, we were meant to take care of this world. Humans included. The dolphins were trying to evolve, tho. Never stood a chance with people around messing it up.

Dolphins and other creatures on Earth navigate due to the electromagnetic force(s). Any change can make them do illogical and dangerous things like ending up on a shore. Like messing up a map.
