#3 A German talking about some other army killing civilians,what a hoot. Your guys did it in your last war as a matter of everyday conduct, slaughtering millions of people who never did anyone any harm. And they were doing it under orders from commanders,not just some isolated occurances.

#12 Ahh hello,maybe you do not see the difference between soldiers lining up tens of thousands of "inferior" people and machine-gunning them into trenches or gassing them vs dropping two bombs to END a horrible war,but most historians believe that millions of lives were spared because of those two bombs. Even after the second bomb military leaders in Japan did not want to surrender and twice tried to assassinate Hirohito for favoring surrender. All the civilians were commited to fighting to the last man,woman and child if Allied forces landed on the main Japanese islands.Some 28,000,000 men and women were considered “combat capable” by the end of June 1945,ready to defend their island in a war of attrition.Plus the military was under orders to execute all Allied POW's if they were invaded. Nuff said..
