And now the poor birds REALLY confused......'cos it "imprinted " on the guy holding the egg.....and thinks he's the Daddy !

awwww Darth Wader is that you holding the egg? cuz sure you are breathing like him
and#4 you must let the bird come out without any help or it won't be strong enough and he will die... so NO...no help for the chick.

Interesting that the shell of the egg is sealed shut, and when the "birth" starts, the bird starts to crack the egg. When the process starts the little thing strats to breath, since it makes voice noises, so that means he must act fast and break the shell before he runs out of air. I'm a bit confused 
If anyone has knowledge in this sort of stuff, can he explain more detailed a bit what's going on ? If it's so small how can he crack the egg by itself ? Since it never did that before, how did it knew that he has to crack the shell ? How does it know that his mom is actually his mom ? it's like he had some pre-installed "software" he's a mini-champ BTW !

This bird has a nice hat, left over from his egg 
#10 Birds have some sort of "egg cutter" developing on top of his beak, it is made of the same stuff as the egg. in some days or weeks it dissappears while the beak develops, meantime is soft, so it does not damage the bird itself.
And they are programmed to like the first thing or animal they see to be his or her mother, forever. It is as breathing air. All pre programmed in the brain.
Our brains are like a Linux computer, there is not much info inside at startup but the commands are already there.
