With all the stories about pits attacking people and other animals, it is nice to see a story about a pit that did something heroic. Let's hope the dogs' actions causes the woman to stop drinking.

My friend runs a animal charity in Ireland who weekly takes over pit and bull breed dogs from the UK pounds as there destroyed there for no reason other than the breed , As they say punish the deed not the breed .
Pitbull's and most bull breeds are extremely social and very friendly its all down to its up bringing and people who own it !!!
People who have dogs like this and who treat them like shit should be locked up its never the dogs fault its the person who is supposed to be there master and owner not being in control.

#4 I totally agree with you.Im from the uk and the new "law" is complete shite.
I used to own a bull breed (God bless him)and he was the softest friendliest dog you could meet.
My daughter would rag him to bits and he never ever even raised a snarl to her,the poor thing would just take it.lol
