Apparently 'chasing a boat' refers to anything that a boat is moving away from.

Those water spouts aren't exactly in hot pursuit or anything.

I lived in the Florida Keys and actually waterspouts do not move too fast and it is not frightening if you have a motor - it is actually fun. In this shot is does not look like it but over water they are much different than on lane

That's right, these two water spouts weren't actually 'chasing' the boat - the vid ends so suddenly because they were just flushing the boat into the third, hidden water spout. Cunning bastards.
