Haven't wee all seen this on Discovery before?
They use a similar wavelength as microwave oven and make you skin feel so hot that you can't stand it. I think they had two methods, one was to make you feel sick and one to make your skin feel really hot.

(BTW, he isn't thrown back like it seems, he's just reacting to the beam for the first time.)

Hey America, thats your new friend.

Humvees that'll either burn your skin or make you shit yourself(no joke)The OPP in canada have humvees with mounted arrays that use ultra low frequency to fuck up your body amd make you feel sick.

Its for crowd control. and guess who that crowd is? You, and the rest of your country unless you behave and stop sayng mean things about george bush.

How come we think thats cool? that scares the shit out of me.

Why is north america so fucked up. other then mexico, they're ok.

Joshy: what are you talking about?

Bombdiggity:

That thing was designed to be used for clearing large crowds of people when swat teams in riot gear fail (the same way tasers are susspose to be used as a last resort)

You wont see them sent to iraq since its useless agaist roadside bombs and people who blow themselves up anyways.

Watch the next big march or rally that happens in a major US City (ronpaulmarch?) and you'll see them in the backround(unless you watch it on fox) and hope they dont get bored and wanna play with it.

Its just giving the government more control over its people by using physical force, and thats what scares me.

Ontario has the heaviest funded police force per capita in the world (canada military is in shambles tho) But our police have similar vehicles, even tho they dont mention it very often to the public.
North america is becoming a fasist police state and people are in awe at their toys and dont care alot about their rights.

OK, all this talk about 'control over people' and the like....don't you think these are better than...oh i don't know...BULLETS!?!?

These things are gonna be used on theyre own people long before they used them on others.

@no1home - are they better then bullets hmm i dont know is a life sentence better then being killed. I dont think so!
Living behind bars until you die from being old is like a lifetime of torture.

Sentence for life is worse then sentence to die. Death is quick and painless. Sentence for life is watching yourself die.

Slavery here we come!!

Hmmmm... wonder how effective those "rays" would be through foil or sheet metal? And for that matter how the emitter "gun" would react to those same rays being sent back to it using a reflective parabolic dish?! Just a thought... ;)

A government that kills when dispersing a justifiably pissed off crowd of legally assembled people can't claim the moral high ground. Bullets and killing people creates martyrs and further civil unrest - the sixties taught the US Govt. that much. Non lethal weaponry just makes the unhappy citizens say ouch, behave and go home like the good little consumers they are supposed to be.

Like Microwave radiation I wonder how many LESS brain cells does this man have.
Stay in the beam long enough and you be called Bubble and Squeak as it boils you guts out !!

Now just make it hand held and vaporize the enemy !

Thank god we invented another weapon and nothing useful!!! And please don't anybody tell me it is a good weapon to stop riots peacefully and that crap. Ask yourself first, why there are riots.
