I dont think they were criminals, Im sure they had just watched MYTH BUSTERS
about saving fuel by driving close to the vehicle infront. the guy on the bonet was just checking how close they were so they could calculate the fuel savings.... now thats how we all can reduce our carbon footprint and save our planet...........same people are just smart,

#(removed comment) The filming was done at night and the burglars approach the truck with all the lights turned off. The trucker can not possibly check what happenes behind. Plus the truck is being slowed by another vehicle driving in front of it.

Idiots , In England they have special trucks with hidden side doors they drive up at night between trucks open door slice open the canvas sidings and take what they want and drive off ....no danger and nice and easy

he did opend the truck and it was empty..this was a trap set up by the romanian special forces DIICOT (like SWAT) and the police filmed this from a hellicopter with an infrared camera..it was on news..actualy this is not a big deal in Roamania..thievs are just that good )))

lol, I think the reason they stopped abruptly in the end was because the guy fell really hard on the windscreen and broke it.
