Metacrylics products Tested at temperatures below minus 70 degree Fahrenheit
It is not often that a product is tested to the extremes of Antarctica, but Metacrylics has withstood freezing and temperatures below -70F, fierce Antarctic winds, and more. Other roof systems fail at temperatures above 0F. A simple test is to put our product in a refrigerator freezer for a couple of hours, put it on a hard surface and hit it with a hammer.

It is fine to say that re-newable energy works at minus 70 degree's, the problem is... Its expensive!
I would love to have solar Hot water, Solar Power, but if i'm paying $10,000 dollars to off set my power bill by $100 a quater and my Hot water bill by 30%, I have to think of the short term cost and if its really worth it.
On top of that.. If i move house, I have lost that investment straight away.
