If we can have syncronised swimming, shooting, archery and curling as olympic sports. Surly we can have this, as its 1000 times more exciting involves a lot more skill and doesn't involve someone with a sweeping brush running along side a big heavy stone. :D

#11 Shooting and archery I can understand..they are after all based on what can happen in real life ( survival etc )but I never DID understand the inclusion of curling and syncronised swimming...no offence intended to fans of either...but what REAL use do either have ?

Wasn't the aeroplane i was impressed with, it was the controller. The remote pilot was damn impressive.

#12 All I can come up with is:- If you had a bungalow on a slope and there was a flood and a big round stone came rushing in through the open front door, the curling method of moving a stone a little faster than it would go without brushing and indeed changing it's direction slightly (obviously you would need to favour hard flooring over carpet.) Might just prevent it from crushing the lame dog sitting in the corner on its now damp blanket.
Syncronised swimming has no use what so ever in the modern world and is actually a form of harrasment in some latin American countries. You can be deemed eltakingofthepissio in the poolio and the sentence is harse, removing your water supply and access to water generally for anything upto 8 months which could be consided a death sentence or critical detoxin as the locals prefer to call it. Indeed the Bond film last but one showed an example of this at the end when the villan was forced to drink a can of All in One after threatening to over charge a country for its own water and being caught swimming in synconisity with a Bulgarian cross dresser (that's an angry piece of furniture from Bulgaria by the way) so the syncronisity was slow slow moving but still illegal. >:)

But these are just very light airplanes. Would it be possible to build a man steared airplane that could do the same? And what about having guns, bombs and other things to carry?
