I want to see how it "resets" itself,
how does it get rid of the fly carcass?

Ya had one ....some one went and touched all its traps ...it died. Great for all of a week.

So be warned if you get one keep it out of the reach of drunk people.

Problem is the "soil" you get the plant with, it's pretty bad. Obviously they *need* insects to survive. As for the soil they want sand, moss, anything with low nutrient. Normal soil will kill the plant within weeks. I had one plant feeding on silverfish(have plenty of those...), it lived for many, many months. The cold killed it in the end, wasn't sure what type of climate it wanted.

They aren't easy to keep. On the plus side, you can feed the plant ground beef, which is a kind of awesomely silly thing to do.

As for the fly husks, they'll be dried out and a stiff breeze will likely take care of them.

its resets itself by opening back up and leaving the previous dead fly as bait for more prey to feed apon but not eating who ever flys in next for the dead flys carcus its like self cleaning itself too
