There are two options - the computer takes into account the capacity of the fuel system (not likely) or it doesn't - probably the case in the video. So, provided this, size of the tank does not matter. The computer most probably shows zero when the fuel sensor touches its bottom position. There is however still some fuel in the fuel system, the very bottom of the fuel tank (below the sensor range), which provides some buffer. Some of the older cars fuel pumps used to overheat and die as they were cooled by the fuel, the garbage at the bottom of the tank can be sucked into the fuel system, etc.. So this is generally not good for the fuel system components.

But that does not justify having first gear and pressed clutch on a red light.

The first issue is that the methodology for couting deaths by Covid19 is not unified and mostly does not reflect the real cause of death. For example, Italy counts anyone dying and being infected as death due to Covid19, which is far from truth. Many people died due to other health issues and would have died also without being infected. As the pathologists are overloaded, it's easier to "determine" Covid19 as a cause of death than really doing the autopsy.

Secondly, the mortality rate (% of infected who die from Covid19) is much smaller than estimated (5-10%) as there is a huge unknown group of infected people without any symptoms. I assume the overall number of infected could be anywher from 10x till 100x higher than the number of confirmed cases. It looks like the mortality rate and severity of symptoms is dependent on how many "virons" the victim accepted. As they started to bring the most vulnerable old people to hospitals without sufficient protection, the hospital halls themselves caused the people condition to deteriorate and accelerate the sickness.

So yes. Covid19 seems worse than seasonal flu, but multplied by low single digit numbers. The video is very much biased doomsaying with very little truth in it - you the saying about the statistics lies...
