It's a great idea, but the graphics in reality are way better than an Oculus Rift DK1. Also, they could achieve pretty much the same affect by using one of those motion-ring setups like they did for Afterburner.

@torbengb You are incorrect, they're using holographic projection which uses a screen (as you pointed out) that creates multiple images based on the your viewing angle... just like the hologram on your credit card.

Thing is, you could actually do this without using the optical illusion. You'd just have to support the dancers either side of you when they lift their legs off the floor.
