If you come to Snotr for your daily dose of rainbows and butterflies then the "Accidents" category, where the precedent for video subject matter has clearly been set, is probably not for you. Might I suggest the "Animals" category? As for what content should or should not be on Snotr, I don't think this qualifies as an "adult submission", though the FAQ section is arguably a little vague

I prefer to use the word "staged", which I'm fairly confident it is. I didn't read the video title before watching the video (Snotr is just part of my online routine) and at the 2 second mark the student gives a very unconvincing look around the class room.

#31 Sorry "chadica", I should have elaborated on that statement for the sake of the simpletons. I made no mention of any firearms training. Grandpa acted with a level head and, as stated in an earlier comment, used his weapon not to kill, but to get the nitwits out of the building.

I'm baffled by the lack of logical reasoning evident in some of these comments If there's one thing those Americans have right it's their second amendment. Let's play the scenario out as if there were no right to bear arms:

Nobody in the building would be carrying a firearm because firearms are reserved for people of authority (police, army...etc). Then Beavis and Butthead arrive on the scene with guns that were presumably acquired illegally. The upstanding citizens are immediately at a disadvantage. We would hope that the thieves would just take whatever money they can get and leave, but when two dimwits with guns show up looking for free shit it puts everybody at risk.

Thankfully, Grandpa holds tight to his traditional American beliefs and brought his gun to the "interweb store". When the two lads made it clear what they were up to, Grandpa had no problem firing a few shots and scaring the criminals shitless.

I would be inclined to agree with #17. I don't think that this video is anywhere near a level of gruesomeness that it should be removed from Snotr. We involountarily see much worse than this on television. I am NOT saying that the lives lost in this video are less significant, but how many times have we seen footage of the thousands dying instantly on September 11 2001. What about the shooting of President Kenndy. There are certain things that happen that we don't see every day...I always thought the aim of Snotr was to report these happenings. Just my two cents.
