I believe everyone deserves a fair trial. And people here in Australia 99% of the time do get that. But the overwhelming public are sick to death of the soft sentencing that occurs after someone is found guilty. I remember a few years ago, a guy got 3 years for a murder. A FREAKIN MURDER for crying out loud. I know each trial is different, and should be judged accordingly. But if someone is found guilty of a crime, it would be nice to see them get the full sentence for once. Some child molesters can be rehabilitated, especially it they are young and were molested themselves and dont know any better. But this man is of an older age, and would definately know whats right and wrong. Why should people like that be a burden on tax payers. People like that cant be rehabilitated, cause in their opinions, they arnt doing anything wrong. To go after a defenceless child, proves that your absolute weak scum. The children they molest get a life sentence, why shouldnt the molester??? Maybe I was too harsh with the hanging comment i made earlier.

Maybe some torture is in order...

I think he only served a few years cause of a technicality or something, not sure, would have to look it up. The only reason guys like that survive prison in australia is cause they are put into solitary confignment or are kept with other child molesters. If they were introdeced to the rest of the inmates, they'd be dead before they even got to their cell.

USAnumber1.... I have nothing against America. But i have watched many documentaries and read a few books regarding WWII. Everything ive stated is factual. Its not my problem if u have only read one book if at all, about the war. Why is it you think all the American vessels at Pearl Harbor where moored closely together?? USAnumber1......I doubt there is anyone here, who doesnt know about Pearl Harbor. Yes Japan attacked the US first, but like i mentioned earlier, the USA were going to strike the Japanese any day. Prior to that, America traded strongly with the allies. Hence the strong submarine presence in the Atlantic ocean. So one way or another, America was involved in the war, alot earlier than people think. Like Bush said regarding terrorists " If your not with us, you're against us."
And whats wrong with being a Muslim sympathizer????? Muslims are good people. Its just the radicals who wanna blow everything up. You telling me there are no radical Americans.......please.
