In any case, I haven't watched a full race for 7-8 years, because of all the politics and complicated rule changes. I even gave away my corporate tickets I was gifted the last 2 years (AUH), to friends, nephews, and inlaws.

I hate overseas call centers. How can a person 7000 miles away, wrap his mind around my first world problems. If my complaint deviates from his scripted Q&As, I'm the one who loses out, he just answers the next call. Leaving a trail of destruction behind.

Every time I glance at the video I can't help but think "flamethrower", like the ones they used to clear bunkers in Iwo Jima. I hate spiders, but not as much as cockroachs.

In many cultures this is still the only type of barber worth your time. I live in Abu Dhabi where both the modern and traditional barbers are available on every street corner (think starbucks x10). Popping in for 2-3 times a week is normal and only costs about 5 USD. Everything from the neck up is trimmed, shaved, massaged, sculpted.

#6 I guess that all depends on how much pressure one gets from work/life/home. Many of us have two or more jobs, a boss that calls 24/7, a drowning marriage, terminal parent to take care of, insurance companies shafting you left n right. Kids to feed/clothe/teach. Sadly not even enough time or money to take on a dog or a cat. That's me!

Just like the father who was supposed to drop off the kid at school (usually the mother did that). But as soon as he got in the car, he fell into his usual routine, drove straight to work while the kid was sleeping flat on the back seat, parked, did his full shift with the kid baking in the car.

I blame the mobile phone. It takes away so much of our attention to a point that we revert to an autopilot mode, yet we believe that we are still in full control. It lulls us in a zombie like state. Personally I switch it off before I sit in the car, I know my self, I will forget something simple that might develop into a tragedy.

If the mother wasn't talking on the phone when she reached the parking lot and paying attention to whomever she was talking to, this might not have happened.

Undeniably their business model and cash flow (as far as I can tell) is a good thing for the competitors, venues and by proxy the fans/consumers. @(removed comment) Meth is way worse. Whats even more scary, you can make it in your kitchen. Before reading the articles, I was convinced the two girls were on meth.

Unfortunately, the law in the UK is very sympathetic towards mentally unstable or sick people. There have been too many cases where "sick" people were released after an encounter with the law, and then within hours/days they've hurt others or themselves. Even when it was as obvious as this case was.

Too many times mental patients are released under the assumption that they are no longer a danger to society so long as they take their pills x number of times a day. But who monitors them and makes sure they follow the conditions of their release, when they have no family near by, or insist on living alone.

Sure... mental patients have rights but what about the rights of all the people they hurt directly and indirectly.

I hate FB with a passion. Total waste of time. Any "friend" or family you're not willing to call in person, email or write directly should not be on any list of yours.
