I agree with many of your points, but in arguing your case in this short forum (simple points to correct obvious misunderstanding) your arguments leave out so much - recognition of the bad effects of US policy and tactics in fighting terrorism.
It is much like fighting communism, and i am sure you know the traps pitfalls and quagmires, the horrors we have inflicted upon innocent people of other countries and our own families.
Our politicians did not and still do not listen to experts while forming plans. They give them 'ear-service' but don't seem to be able to integrate that advice in plans.
I know the experts present them with problems that seem insurmountable, but ignoring the problems will just not work in the long-term.

Advice for myself (and you if you want it): just try to ignore the ignorant.

I don't think the kick is what kept him down, but the following punch from the side. He was attempting to get up until then The kick just seemed to come naturally as the agressor's head was low.
I don't think he really is a classic "bully", but was motivated by something other than the thought of beating someone up. He did not really WANT it- it was a means to an end, and once he comitted (threats) he could not back off.

I think it is our own knowledge of sex that makes us read more into what these kids do.
I remember "playing doctor" and there was nothing more than curiosity to see what i hadn't seen.
Kids will also imitate what they have seen of course, but the kissing, grabbing, etc is not evil - it is only adults attaching bad connotation.

First and foremost is trying to avoid getting shot up while you figure ot where they are (if you ever do). Shooting at likely spots may keep them from shooting back, as well as letting them know you are looking to shoot them, and not having some difficulty.
To not return fire is to encourage them to get a bead on you, and they just MIGHT have time to, since you don't know where they are

I would say the car swerved to go around him to the right (from driver's POV)although too little and too late.
I wold GUESS (and that is all any of us can do) that the driver was NOT paying full attention, his long view was limited first by the truck, then the car in front of him as it pulled to the left lane, revealed the motorcycle at an angle. If he was looking in front of him, he had enough time to brake, and it does not APPEAR that he did , but by the timing, it is VERY DIFFICULT to know.
I agree that those who make idiot comment such as 'must have been a woman' or 'the driver should be shot' haven't taken the time to think or are incapable of thinking clearly.

I think both examples are stereotyping, but it's more of a stretch to say they are racist.
#(removed comment) 's comment was probably inspired by seeing the heads alone .. he may or may not actually think all Muslims behead people, but i doubt it - i think he was just throwing a joke out there (lame as it seems to me). It would say it is religious stereotyping in the extreme, not even discriminating average Muslims from violent radicals who would behead someone.
Your comment seems to be inspired from the black guy's expression being the most outstanding, but some might call it racism to laugh at a black guy for any reason unless he was trying to get a laugh (even though many black comedians use black cultural stereotyping to get laughs)
It would still be stretching the definition of racism, but it's getting stretched by people who use it casually, using the power of condemnation carried by the word "racist" ... but they don't think through what aspect REALLY bugs them and what it might be better called.

Well, they filmed it, and i think they both knew that and part of Janice's amusement was knowing his reaction was recorded, and knowing he would see it later.
You can tell he is ok in the first "whoop", but for a kid his size when he became weighless for a second ... that must be quite a shock!

It says he 'ran'. I don't see that in the video - not running as if to escape, but just retreating in reaction to someone coming at him agressively. Maybe there was more 'running' before the clip. No way to know from this.
I don't think injuries was the intent, but simply to knock the kid down - not "abuse of power" or "excessive force".

The people who think it was excessive are NOT thinking it through, but reacting emotionally to the sight of an innocent person being put into a coma.

I agree with Mencia on this. We MUST look at everything with prejudice. We MUST make judgments based on limited previous experience. To fail in that makes us fools, unable to project experience of others onto a situation or extrapolate clues into possible scenarios.
