I had the pleasure of hearing (and seeing) Admiral Hopper give this speech (and more) in Quantico VA at the Naval Hospital in the late 1970's. You can imagine that back then this was especially fascinating considering the level of technology at the time. No home computers or cell phones then!

That is insane!!!!! If only I was 20 years younger, I would have loved to try this!! I tried skydiving and took flying lessons in my early 20's and this would have been the best of both worlds!!!
