The hight of these extreme jumps is around 10 meters, or 33 feet, at most.
The longest ever ski jump was 251.5 meters, or 825 feet, earlier this year in Vikersund, Norway.

The ship is now an artificial coral reef. It was of course emptied for all hazardous waste such as oil before getting sunk.

#6 Huh?
#7 You are misunderstanding either what logic is or what carpet bombing does. One raid of carpet bombing did more damage than one A-bomb. Cities in Japan was mainly wooden, so firebombs caused massive fires that almost engulfed the entire city. And scare tactics against Germany you say, who months before surrendered?
There are clear historical evidence that A-bombs in Japan was totally unnecessary, they were used in order to test them in a real scenario, AND, of course, show the Soviets that they shouldn't mess with the US.

Still this notion that Japan surrendered because of the A-bomb.. The carpet bombing did more damage than the A-bomb. At least be sceptical to those who write history and have a favorability in the way it's being depicted. History is the single most important knowledge we have.

It's sort of a thrill watching them, but Sweet Lord, use a helmet, mate! I don't know about NY, but if this was in Norway they would've been thrown in jail with the amount of red lights they ran on.

#4 Well, Norway didn't have much of a standing army at the time, as the Goverment had reduced its size over the years. Besides, Norway was the most occupied country in the world during WW2, with 1 German soldier for every 8 Norwegians.. Imagine if USA was occupied by 40 million enemy troops today..

Albert Einstein was just about finished with his work on the theory of special relativity, when he decided to take a break and go on a vacation to Mexico. So he hopped on a plane and headed to Acapulco. Each day, late in the afternoon, sporting dark sunglasses, he walked in the white Mexican sand and breathed in the fresh Pacific sea air. On the last day, he paused during his stroll to sit down on a bench and watch the Sun set. When the large orange ball was just disappearing, a last beam of light seemed to radiate toward him. The event brought him back to thinking about his physics work. "What symbol should I use for the speed of light?" he asked himself. The problem was that nearly every Greek letter had been taken for some other purpose. Just then, a beautiful Mexican woman passed by. Albert Einstein just had to say something to her. Almost out of desperation, he asked as he lowered his dark sunglasses, "Do you not think that the speed of light is very fast?" The woman smiled at Einstein and replied, "Si."

32. RoyalNorwegian commented 10 years ago on video How Much Does Thor's Hammer Weigh?
I asked Thor about this, and he said you've got it all wrong. It's made of, and I quote: "...parts of a dying star, it's basically been coated with a layer to boost endurance. The hammer is also made of gold, silver and carbon. It weighs about 1800 kg on Earth." He also told me that the bond he has with Mjølnir (the Hammer) is similar to that of quantum entanglement, but he didn't want to specify due to laws in Åsgard regarding interference with human technological advances.

Scary how fast those arrows hit. However, remember that this is about 25 frames a second, humans can see more than that, which means in reality you will see them a tad better as they're hurling towards your face. You're still dead though.

I've never quite understood the catch and release of fish. If someone who went starving all day saw that, I don't think that someone would neither. Imagine going of into the woods to catch a random animal, then almost suffocae it, before releasing it (we do have laws against that acutally).
I wrote quite, because i get the game of it all (but still). The general belief is that fish doesn't feel pain. Come on. That makes no biological sence. But anyways, just downrate this comment, because it doesn't really matter, right?

That's like saying "as a christian" to imply moral highground. Being a graduate from a random university doesn't really give you any standing. Just like being a member of mensa doesn't either. (Name me one member of mensa that has done anything useful.) You need to expand your mind, seek creativity. Think about areas where we might need levitation, e.g. where we today use magnetism, but is for some reason limiting us. Or what about ways of levitating nonemetals?. (What about fusion?). As an internet browser, i see countless applications.
