Before he got into acting he was a furniture mover and sustained a back injury which affects him till this day. This is why he has a distinct walk and a slightly angled posture. This could explain why he does the leg-over on chairs, as conventionally sitting might be uncomfortable for him.

Still amusing to watch though.

Perhaps a name amendment is due? This is called cocktail flairing or flair bartending, and it doesn't make you the best "bartender" in the world. Flaring is pretty much juggling with bottles and bar utensils. I'm sure they are good at serving quality cocktails too, but they're definitely not the best at it. As far as flairing goes this bartender is extremely good. I'm sure he'll start getting recognised very quickly. I had the privilege to hire an amazing flairer for an event I was doing, who was once considered one of the best in the world, called Nicolas Saint Jean http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdWT4nAvOhI#!
Check out at 45secs for his amazing orange-in-mid-air slice trick which he also did at my event. Amazing.

Moving on to best bartenders; the guy voted best international bartender is called Alex Kratena for his ability to create the best cocktails (classics and his own creations), and is the head bartender at the Artesian bar in London which I used to frequent. And I have to say, his cocktails were incredible.

Working in the nightlife industry for 8 years does have its perks. Now I just have to get rid of the belly that the alcohol has given me :P

Very intelligent bird. I think it worked out that if he unties the laces the man has to let go of the pan momentarily giving the crow an opportunity to make off with it. They are great problem solvers and are one of the few birds that understand the usage of tools and also, like Ravens, crows can mimic human speech.

I'm actually quite happy with how science has progressed with the use of prosthetics when it comes to replacing lost limbs. Now that they have a design like this done they'll work on getting the responsiveness increased and the movements of each digits more fluid and it will be as useful as a normal hand (without sense of touch of course).

As this technology progresses I wonder what implications it will have on the status of these people as working able or disabled? This will soon become a grey area as the technology evolves. And as some people mentioned earlier, the technology could evolve to the point where the augmented prosthetics could even be superior to the original body parts.

Exciting times.

The guy on the inside wasn't a security guard. He was wearing a normal T-Mobile shop uniform. Most small sized phone shops don't have their own security guard, only the larger sized shops. Unless it is a shop which is targeted a lot by thieves.

Unfortunately for the man who decided to stick it to T-Mobile will get done quite hard for this as it will be considered criminal damage and not a civil matter. Poor guy. But I did enjoy the level of detail he went into to ruin the store.

#4 lawl

I remember when the first Playstation came out in 1996 and I bought it, one of the first games I got with it was Wipeout, and I became a huge fan ever since. That game has inspired my life in so many ways. The soundtrack was cutting edge back then, they used a track by The Chemical Brothers and since then I've become a fan of all their musical work. The logos for the team and the artwork was done by The Designers Republic which was a graphic design team from Sheffield, their work inspired me to become a graphic designer.

Its great to see that Wipeout inspired these scientists to build this mini track. Bring on the real thing so we can have a racing series to finally crush Formula 1 as the premium high octane sport.

#4 Correction: He sees the wall as we see it. However because we look at it from an angle we can see the contours of the wall. But from his point of view he can't see the walls because the projectors process the angle seamlessly so he doesn't notice the contours of the wall. He's just wearing regular 3D glasses you would get for a 3D HD TV. If you look on the footage on the wall you'll see that for us it looks like blurred double vision. But for him it pops out like it would at an iMax movie.

+12 22. S3B commented 12 years ago on video Bouncer

I run a London nightclub in the West End area and I have to say the security team I got are very good. Lightning fast to react to trouble and eject the troublemakers immediately. But the video depiction is true in regards to sometimes the trouble coming back for you afterwards. I've known a few bouncers who've been brutally attacked after work as revenge, and one who sadly got topped off with a gun after being followed home from work.

The nightclub scene is very dirty and lots of stuff happen behind the scenes that the normal punter doesn't know about. You need to know who to be nice to (gangsters, enforcers, etc) and who to stop from coming in (petty thieves, small time drug peddlers, etc) so as to not piss off the wrong people.

+5 23. S3B commented 12 years ago on video Everything Is A Remix: THE MATRIX

I think some people took this far too seriously and over exaggerate with their comments. It can clearly be seen that this movie was heavily influenced by other movies, and that is not a bad thing. No movie nowadays are original. Everything has been influenced and all our ideas are fabrications or modifications of other ideas. Its how you present it that makes it unique or seem original.

Its not a coincidence that scenes look familiar in The Matrix, Ghost in the Shell (Anime) and Akira (Anime). Infact, you will see a lot more movies lately being influenced by Japanese Anime. Most lately Black Swan was very heavily influenced by the brilliant anime, Perfect Blue.

#14 I couldn't give a toss about how many thumbs up I get. As much as I love burritos I've never been a fan of fast food chains and I had no intention of spreading dis-information. Maybe you love your local Chipotle restaurant and religiously follow their corporate developments, but the fact that MacDonald's had a stake in it is enough for me to lose interest and eat at a proper Mexican restaurant to have a burrito.

But you are very disillusioned to think that Chipotle is high quality food. Are you insane? Do you know how many calories are in a burrito? There is a very big difference in quality of nutrition from fast food chains to fine dining restaurants.

On a side note, if I really wanted to get lots of thumbs up I would have made a reference to the South Park episode that Chipotle makes your ass bleed. Good day to you sir.

Meh, maybe its a start.

#3 such an uneducated statement. MMA fighters are more athletic than any other sports athlete. It takes a lot of discipline, skill and dedication like any other sport. And the point of it is like any other combat sport whether it is boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, karate, judo, etc.

#5 this is the only combat sport which has had the least amount of deaths. boxing as a sport has deaths almost every year and countless cases of brain damage which retires the fighter indefinitely. MMA has had 1 death in the past decade in a sanctioned fight and the fighters are not as prone to getting brain damage as a boxer would who on average gets hit 700 times in the head in a single fight.

#13 the last time a boxer stood up to an mma fighter he got taken down and owned in the first round. Look up Randy Couture vs James Toney

Its an interesting loophole. Advertisers in the UK (London in my case) knew the law wouldn't allow them to directly place adverts on the street pavements. So then someone came up with the idea that instead of directly placing ads on the pavement they could use a stencil to "clean" a part of the pavement. Afterall, there is no law to stop you from cleaning the street, even if done partially.

Not many people realise just how much influence and subliminal persuasion is around us every day in modern society.

This is so true especially when it comes to the propaganda machines. If you repeat certain words over and over and over again, eventually people will start believing its true. "Terrorist", "Terrorism", "Terror" springs to mind.

+4 39. S3B commented 13 years ago on video Tai Chi - Amazing Chi energy explained

I see all this mysticism and chi power the same way I see mediums, psychics and spiritual healers. All charlatans.

Countless times I'd get into arguments with some of my more ignorant friends that these people are not invincible. Granted, some of the stuff they do and train are effective, but all this chi power I find ridiculous.

Its all a ruse to get as many people to join their school instead of someone else's. You can see the same form of lies and trickery performed by Frank Dux (who had a whole movie, Bloodsport, based on his incredible and fake life), the original American Ninja Ashida Kim (laughable how fake his Ninjitsu is). It's all about who's style is the best.

When I ask "Why don't you see any of these type of people contend in the Cage?", the typical response I'd get is "Because their style is illegal man, they'd kill someone in the cage with one move". ROFLMAO.

Similar to Chi, the Japanese believe in something called Kai, and a 'Kai master' accepted a challenge from an MMA practitioner, and you will now see the result: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEDaCIDvj6I

20# Hahaha that would be hilarious. Would love to learn that one. "Don't come near me dude, or I'm going to make you shit yourself!"

14# thanks for the reply, but just as Supra said. The only way to make someone pass out from stopping the blood flow is a form of choke. The most effective one being a rear naked choke. Here is one demonstrated by Frank Shamrock, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyFJj8XKgQY

The choke stops blood leaving the brain which is what causes the victim to go unconscious. A strike to the neck could not cause the same results as the the flow needs to be stopped for a few seconds.

Now here is an example of a chop to the neck, right below the ear and jawbone which shocks the nerve I mentioned earlier. Hitting the lower part of the neck will not work, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEv6i-lhIWc

I'll say it again... pressure point attacks will not render people unconscious. Only strikes to cranium, jaw and under the jawbone will knock someone unconscious, and of course a choke. But one thing I've noticed about these 'pressure point knockout' videos is that the victim is always some very skinny. Maybe that is why they don't require much of a force to knock them out. I reckon if they did it to someone who is more athletic it would not work as it does in this video.

Sorry about the long posts, I just hate seeing people fall into marketing ploys into martial arts systems that are actually not that good. Giving people false confidence is dangerous, especially on the street.

Oops sorry for the double post... pos
There is a nerve just under the ear which if struck hard will knock you out. Which is why karate practitioners like using the inside chop. There is no way where if you tap somebody on a part of the body that they will pass out.

The nerve on the neck under the ear is not a pressure point, but is directly connected to the nervous system which if struck sends a message to the brain to shut down. It is just like being punched square on the jaw by a force of 6 lbs.

I won't post a link to it, but in YouTube just do a search for "Martial Arts Death Touch" and you will see the video of one of these people who uses the very same technique on people outside of their dojo and fail.

#7, The use of pressure points used in a fighting system, for me, is mystical until scientifically proven. There is no pressure point on my body you can press or tap that will render me unconscious.

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but the guy is a fraud. An American news crew went to film him but were skeptical of his techniques so took him to a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy where they asked him to try it out on the students there. Not one was rendered unconscious or even fell.

Here is the facts... there is no effective martial art out there that utilises pressure points or other mystical elements of that sort. So don't be taken in to these marketing ploys. They are just running a business to get as many people to sign up as possible.

But if it was real it would be cool :)
