#10, wrong! In cities people are responsible for the biggest bird death rate (through a very wide variety of ways, including habitat and nest destruction). Cats actually kill very few birds (numerous studies over the past ten years have shown that they mostly kill/eat mice), and like most predators, they pick off the sickest and weakest (easiest ones to catch) which in turn makes the populations healthier. I'm all for helping the birds, but the blame should be put where it's due, or it's pointless.

Maybe the people wanted the deer to get away because they understood that zoos are not actually natural environments, and the lions get fed everyday and are tended to by humans. #7, as I stated before.. It's a FACT that some cats will start to smell. It isn't always a health issue and vets will simply tell you to wash the cat. When you come up with a safe and pleasant way to bathe a cat properly, without having your face and arms ripped up while trying, please let the rest of us know. Holding the cat down would also be extremely cruel, and probably be more dangerous for the cat. Tying it down, just as dangerous. What would you suggest? Drugging it?

This is NOT torture. The cat does not experience pain by being touched with water. As for being frightened.. MOST cats would be equally frightened by a vet trip. Being shoved into a small box and then poked and prodded at by a stranger. For example.. I've taken cats to the vet and sometimes they've had to be put into cat bags, with a hole for the head and one leg to stick out, so that the vet could safely take blood for tests. You BET they were terrified and fighting! But it had to be done. Sometimes we all have to endure unpleasant things for the sake of our well being. Even humans have to.

Clearly the cat was not happy, and I too feel sorry for it. However, sometimes cats don't clean themselves properly and really start to stink. Think of it like a vet trip. Sometimes they'll have to be frightened a bit to keep them healthy. The water was not hurting the cat.. And I bet the cat felt 100% better (for being clean) after s/he got dried off. I say this as a cat lover.

Disgusting and like #2 said, disrespectful to the animal. #39, one can be a meat eater and be against the cruel treatment of an animal. No, we can't be sure the animal we ate did not suffer, we can only support the groups out there that have been created to keep the suffering from happening, or to keep it to an absolute minimum. People DO have to eat. We CAN be sure that the animal is not still alive as we eat it, however.

Poor kid probably thought he was going to die when he started slipping down in his seat like that. LOL. I'm curious as to why people are calling the woman his mother when he addresses her as Janice rather than mom. She's probably an aunt or other relative.

This is really well done, and I love the humour. You can also tell that they really love their cats. As far as bordering on abusive, I say not even close. The worse thing those cats are suffering from in the video is annoyance. Speaking as someone who would be the first in line to pound on anyone that hurt a cat or dog.
