Graffiti is not vandalism unless is done on public property (or someone else`s) with no approval from the authorities. I`d rather see such rainbows on the buildings instead of nasty writings.
Not all things are created to be usefull (take the example from the video with the ketchup robot) but that doesn`t mean they are a waste of time.

#12 you have made some good points there but you are overseeing the fact that this baby monkey was born in captivity. Now I am not saying that it Zoo`s are are a good thing but some animals end up there because they are saved: between death or captivity wich one do you think it`s best for them?
We cannot undo the demage we`ve done to their natural habbitat but at least we can try to stop doing more or provide them with perhaps nature reserves where we can protect them better because if animal lovers won`t fight for them the end will be tragic. Since we cannot at this point stop the human - wild animals intteraction let`s make it a positive one. The purpose of the media covering such a story was to inform and increase public awareness.
Ouh and yes, some animals do need us - but that it`s just our own fault.
I believe we are all in the same boat here.

I believe that Japan is being fair about the situation and instead of hiding the mess under the carpet they try to minimize the impact on the population.
This short animation is aimed at the children to explain what they hear on the news and all around them in a more comprehensive way. There is no brain washing and they are not putting them at ease that all is perfect and under control. Positive thinking helps while PANIC only causes more damage!
