It's from the 80s, and it was awesome. Pure skill, bloody thumbs, insomnia, and torment on a scale unimaginable to gamers today with their infinite lives, sit and do nothing gameplay, and trophies every 5 minutes to keep their fragile little precious snow-flake ego inflated.

This country has fallen so much and will continue to fall. Yes, a subjective statement, but if you look at the social, political, economic trends and facts you will come to the same conclusion. I don't want this to be a long post, but ask your parents to remember the USA of 20-30 years ago.

The USA is in huge decline, but that's no surprise. People spend most of their income in their food, housing, and healthcare, if they're lucky to cover those expenses and unfortunately due to ever increasing tuition costs and a culture where for some reason stupidity is seen as an asset... Well I guess this is no surprise.

24. WildMonkey commented 11 years ago on video Why the whole banking system is a scam - Godfrey Bloom
Fractional banking and seigniorage are nothing new, it's as old as banking itself. The problem doesn't lie entirely on them; it's the grotesque misuse of said tools, including leverage, the ridiculous 30:1 Debt-to-Equity ratios of financial institutions, unregulated securities market, the destruction of Glass-Steagall, a do-nothing SEC, cronyism, financial lobbyist that literally write the laws and tell politicians what to do, say, and sign in to law.
The financial markets aren't the joke, human nature is.

I hate women like her, probably thinks the world revolves around her.
She was probably trying to change lanes without regard to the biker, then he probably said something the bitch replied, he kicked the car and you know the rest.
For those of you that the biker was in any way at fault, who the hell tries to run-over a person for no reason? Also, she banged up her car (and the car of at least 2 other people) much much more than the biker did.
This woman is a horrible horrible person.

I'm sorry to break it to you hippies, but EVERYTHING you eat is like this, from animals to plants.
People should understand that most vegetables, fruits, and meats that are designated for human consumption are highly controlled and manipulated. This is not a bad thing.
Studies have proven that plants grown without pesticides actually contain a higher degree of carcinogens due to that the plants develop natural defenses against insects. They are now finding that most marine life contain high degrees of carcinogens due to dumping plastics in the oceans. As they start to break down plankton and other small animals tend to eat these minuscule and toxic particles and it goes up the food chain.

I wonder what runs the machine producing the radio waves? Idiots. Electric motors have been the solution for over 100 years now. Stupid concept, too complex for a simpler substitute. Once solar panels start hitting around 50% efficiency (now they're at around 18-24%) you can put a 3m x 3m panel on your roof and it will be more than enough to run your house all day and night.
The problem isn't lack of area for solar panels, it's their efficiency, and not because we don't have the tech, it's because special interest groups (oil, duh) are delaying advancements by means of legislation, buying up patents, buying and dismantling companies and research centers. Sounds like conspiracy lunacy, but a good well documented place to start is by looking up what happened to the EV-1.

#13 You should learn how the rules of natural selection work, and on top of that the rules of human society ie free market forces. Are you crying because humans had an impact on recently extinct species such as the dodo bird, quagga, Tasmanian wolf, passenger pigeon, golden toad, caribbean monk seal, pyrenean ibex, bubal hartebeest, javan tiger, tecopa pupfish, baiji river dolphin, and so on...has the world ended? NO! 99.99999% of all species that have lived on this planet are gone! Why should whales or whatever other retarded animal have special protection? Because you think it's cool and hip to be part of a "noble" cause? You should grow up and learn the rules of the game. If we are really interested in the survival of a species we make it as successful as humans in terms of numbers, like chickens, cows, pigs, dogs, cats, etc... they serve our purposes and we exploit it, in return we make them better and more numerous. No one doubts that vigilantes in the streets are either stupid or crazy for embarking in foolhardily endeavors even though they have good intentions, but for some reason you people celebrate vigilantes if they're on a boat!

The human world isn't like this because of a problem or a systemic anomaly, it is because that's how we want it.
The problem is that people are just too stupid, ignorant, uneducated, apathetic, and narrow-minded to realize in what a cruel stupid game they have embarked on called civilization.
If we really wanted to, we could end many of socio-economic problems, in fact, surprisingly fast, if that were our intent, but we don't care about others, we don't care about doing the right thing, we don't care about anything but what affects us immediately, and we are too stupid to realize that a socially geared attitude benefits all, not the very few like the piece of shit we call our culture.

In general it's a dangerous, wasteful, and stupid activity that does not generate any tangible benefits.
