Well...I found it rather amusing...mainly because while it was playing about 6 Police cars pulled up outside...followed by three fire engines...with the way they were running around like headless chickens I halfway expected to hear a Osprey flying over head ( the SAS use them)...absolutely no idea what was going on...but it fitted nicely with the police sirens on the video :-)

Best watch out...if I remember correctly there's only about 22 countries we haven't invaded yet....but hey!...the day is still young ;-)

I got a few 'strange' looks...including from a couple of coppers ( in Trafalgar Square ) but I looked over at them and said 'It's called light painting' ( up until then they hadn't noticed the camera on it's tripod ), so they came over and I showed them on the camera the results I had so far...they were literally dumbstruck...I'll take it for granted they hadn't seen anything like it before :-)

That is very likely the worst example I've ever seen on how to clear Hornets, doing it the way guy in the video is doing is nothing short of criminal, Hornets stings are bloody bad...and all he's doing is putting at risk anybody who lives nearby.

The BEST way is to go around the building and seal any gaps or better still totally enclose it in a tent like structure...basically you wrap it in something like heavy duty cling film...once that's done you simply pump in the aerosol poison and kill ALL the nasty feckers in one go...simple, efficient, and relatively cheap.

Half an hour later he gave in...and removed the cover for the sewers...now I'm standing at LEAST 12 feet away...and the stench slapped me round the face and made me gag...and what's there? ( don't you DARE SAY IT Jake !! ) a fat-berg....and it went back along the sewer for about 30 feet! Took him and two other guys nearly three hours to clear it.

#3. I was away backpacking some years back...and saw three girls suddenly leg it for shelter when a storm started up down in deepest darkest ( and wildest obviously ) Surrey ( UK ). There was one tree in the middle of an open field...and right on the track they were following...give you one guess where they headed. Probably less then 10 seconds after they'd reached the tree there was this almighty 'flash/bang'...and the tree got hit by lightning...again ( it'd been hit many times over the years. When I and a couple of other guys ran over to the tree to see if the girls were ok we found all three of them standing there dead still in shock....and all three of 'em had wet themselves...can't actually say I was surprised by that.

Thanks but I'll pass...I had an 'argument' with a one metre diving board, it threw me off when for some weird reason it 'buckled'. I Only weighed around 147 pounds so it wasn't that ! I hit the edge of the board on my spine, bounced from that onto the edge of the pool and then into the water...and after they had dragged me out I spent 9 months in traction! I know a guy ( seriously this is true ) who thought that rather than spend a lot of money on buying a drone it would be a good idea to attach his camera to a helium balloon. I'm one of those people that has a condition known as Tetrachromacy...basically it means I see a LOT more colours than the majority of people...around a hundred times more, and I have the ability to 'carry' a colour in memory...very handy when you work in photography and photographic processing. When I come across people who can't see the world as I do it seems strange...and really unfair...I can't imagine what it would be like NOT to see the world as I do...so when I come across something like in this video it kinda hits me quite hard.

The other thing is...Opticians HATE me...'look at the red and green half circles...which is brighter'?

At one Opticians i wen't through all the staff until they called in the senior partner...by then the penny had dropped 'would it help if I told you i had as near perfect colour sight as you can get'?

The main reason I uploaded this video is that I had a lady friend who was in a powered wheelchair, it was brought home to me just how hard it is to gain access to some places...and how ignorant some people are about such things.

The worst occasion was when she had to attend an 'assement' to see what kind of work she could do. OK...Asthma, COPD ( Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) , Wet AMD ( Age related macular degeneration ), Ankylosing spondylitis, PKD ( Polycystic kidney disease ) She had more than forty operations over the years for that alone. And that's just the conditions I can remember.

When we arrived for the 'assement' we found there was no lift...and the appointment was on the fourth floor....eventually the inteview was held in a ground floor utility cupboard. Amy ( typically ) said she WANTED to go back to work...AND since employers are not allowed to discriminate on the grounds of disability she was sure things would be fine...then she added she wanted to be retrained. The lady doing the interview nodded and said 'good idea!...now what would you like to do'?

'I want to be a commercial airline pilot'.

Silence ensued ;-)

'How did you get on with the Donkey'? 'I did very well...I got over £6000.00 fer it'! 'WHAT!? How the hell did you do that'!? 'I sold raffle tickets at £10.00 each...I sold 650 of 'em'! I'm often ( well...'sometimes' ) asked why I take part in the London Naked bike ride ( yeah...naked ).

One of the reasons is that its a protest about cyclists getting killed or badly injured by motorists who don't pay attention to what they are doing. Before anybody says its often the cyclists fault I'll actually agree...I've seen enough morons on two wheel's to last a lifetime...but there are a large number of people killed or maimed every year for no fault of their own.

The WNBR ( World naked bike ride ) takes place ( as the name might suggest ) all over the world...check out their website if you want to take part....you don't HAVE to be nekkid...the 'rule' is 'as bare as you dare'....

I saw this in one of the newspapers over here ( UK ), I said then that it amazed me that people can't make the connection between a train with a bloody big snow plough coming towards them at a high rate of knots...and getting blasted with snow. Its the same when you're waiting to cross the road after its been raining ...and there's a big puddle of water at the kerb....I see that and step back and to one side, while a lot of sheep wait until a bus or truck goes through it and they get soaked.

...NINETY MPH...in the distance I can see a train crossing the horizon...as we go along I can see our paths start to converge...we're getting closer...and closer..and CLOSER.

By now I'm gripping the edges of the seat....Thirty yards or so before we get to the level crossing she stands on the brakes....the car screams to a shuddering halt. Smoke is billowing up from the tires....the train goes screaming past as we sit there, I turn to look at her...and see she has a look of sheer ecstasy on her face as the smoke blows past her....'can...can you SMELL it'? She asked breathlessly....'Smell it?....for gods sake woman!...I'm sitting in it'!

Used to see the same sort of behavior at the local swimming pool...usually after guys ( trying to impress the girls ) had just jumped of the three metre board...and belly flopped...somehow the screams didn't have quite the effect they wanted ;-)

Only until the end of next week, then ( according to an EU directive ) we have to switch over to driving on the other side of the road but ( unusually it has to be said ) they have given us 'special dispensation' so we can do it in stages.....On Monday all goods vehicles will start driving on the right hand side of the road...then by Wednesday all private vehicles will join them ;-)

People 'generally' move to another country for a reason...the politics, weather, job opportunities...whatever, the simple fact is people generally move because they WANT to ( most of the time ). So when people start ripping of the country they moved to they will never get my sympathy, nor respect nor anything else except my condemnation....does that make me 'racist'?

#1. Not only can i sew...I can also embroider! I learnt how to do that from my Father...he was in the R.A.F. during the second world war out in Egypt as ground crew. One of the jobs they had was to go out and recover crashed aircraft and bring them back to see what ( if anything ) they could salvage. One day they were shifting a fighter from the back of a truck when the cable snapped ( he was standing on the aircraft at the time ) when he fell he broke both his legs, while in hospital they taught him ( and many others ) embroidery and knitting as occupational therapy...I learned just by sitting and watching him. #9. What annoys me...INTENSELY...is that up until I got married ( says a lot lol ) I could sleep not only 'any when'...but pretty much anywhere as well.

Interesting article...I sleep 'when' I sleep for an average of three hours...yeah...THREE hours. Then I'm awake for around 4 - 6 hours....then I sleep for three hours or so....and so on. It drives me feckin' NUTS ( oh sorry I forgot...I'm ALREADY nuts ). True I 'could' take meds to help me sleep and to get me into a proper ( lol ) 'sleep pattern'. This was a test by the NCDOT to try and alleviate traffic backing up from the school into the highway. They wanted to utilize the extra parking area for the drop off line and not let kids get dropped off anymore. This plan did not work and was reverted back to the plan that had been in place for years. The drop off line goes around the parking area and the parking spots are also used to walk your child in.

The school does provide buses, but some of these buses come by some areas at 6 am to pick up kids. Most parents both work and they drop their child off on the way to work. There are over 700 kids at this school and where would you put 700 bicycles if they could ride to school. Riding on a bike or walking is not an option because this school has kids 15 miles away.

The only thing I can add to that is having a school FIFTEEN miles from where you live ( if you don't have kids ) is BLISS!

Who would let their kid ride a bike or walk 15 miles to school everyday. This is an area that is very rural and there is no way the state would ever install hundreds of miles of sidewalks that don't even lead to a town.

You should see it on BBQ day, the largest fundraiser for a school in the state. They sell 19,000 tickets at $9 a plate and have sold out for over 60 years the BBQ fundraiser has been in place. 15,000 lbs of BBQ, 2,500 gallons of stew and 500 gallons of slaw is made and sold here in 1 day. That is something to see. So to all the negative comments, everywhere is not like where you live. Things are different for a reason. This isn't New York or Chicago''

How about a means of combating bad fires for example...the pilot could be sat in a self contained air conditioned 'cabin'.
