it makes no difference in accident situ as most doors nowadays wont open after crash. mercedes have made a few difrences to door design and chassis i have seen mercedes cars after head on collision and u can still open rear doors damage wise for some example engine pushed back 6 inches car about 2 feet shorter than normal. having spent alot of time stripping mercs well designed motor.
